When we postponed our event to the fall, it was with the hope that the future would allow for events later in 2020. It’s become very apparent that there is no safe and ethical way we could host our convention.

Breakout team is excited to announce our new dates
After careful consideration, the Breakout team is excited to announce our new dates for Breakout 2020. We will be hosting our event on October 30th - November 1st at our regular location, the Sheraton Downtown in the heart of Toronto.
Breakout Update, March 13, 2020 - COVID-19 Statement
The mounting health crisis of COVID-19 requires everyone to participate in keeping Toronto and Canada safe. Acting in compliance with the advice of Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer, we are relieved to announce that Breakout Gaming Convention will be postponed until the latter half of the year in an effort to reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus. We are currently working with the Sheraton Downtown to find new dates for our convention.
